Layering is KeyTo stay comfortable in the changing mountain environment, we recommend a three-layer system:

- Outer Layer: Waterproof and windproof ski jacket and pants to block snow and wind. Look for taped or sealed seams for maximum protection.
- What accessories are essential for the mountain?
Don't forget these key items to protect your extremities from the elements:
- Head & Neck: A warm hat, neck gaiter, and a thin balaclava for under your helmet.
- Hands: High-quality waterproof gloves or mittens (mittens generally provide more warmth).
- Feet: One or two pairs of dedicated wool ski socks and sturdy waterproof boots for walking around the resort.

Snowbird is known for heavy snowfall and high altitudes. Keep these tips in mind while packing:
- Prioritize Waterproofing: Because of the high moisture levels, waterproof outerwear is non-negotiable.
