A bustling LVT trade show booth at ISC West featuring "Game Over for Criminals" branding, integrated security units, and crowds of attendees engaging with product demos.

LVT showcased a suite of AI-driven security innovations at ISC West through an interactive, gaming-themed experience to demonstrate how their integrated technology leaves criminals with nowhere to hide.

ISC West, the annual security trade show held in Las Vegas is an event companies often use to showcase their latest innovations. For LVT, it’s an event where we can share our vision while giving attendees an unforgettable experience.

While last year’s theme was criminals can’t hide, this year it is game over for criminals. We had a lot of attendees ask, “Why is it game over for criminals?” It’s simple, with LVT’s industry leading mobile security unit (MSU) paired with all the latest innovations, LPR, GuardGate, Live Unit Surround, SafeNow, LVT AI Talk Down, LVT Forensic Search, and more, bad actors have nowhere to go.

The Product Showcase at the Booth

Leading up to ISC West, LVT announced a number of great new products to help make the world a more secure place. On February 25, LVT shared its partnership with Insight LPR, adding license plate recognition capabilities. On March 10, the mobile and rapidly deployable solution, GuardGate was unveiled. Then on the week of ISC West, LVT debuted Live Unit Surround, bringing coverage and AI deterrence to every side of your building.

Attendees were able to get a first-hand look and a demonstration of these solutions at ISC West. Our product leaders were stationed at different areas to share how these products and features not only work effectively, but work together to give businesses full site coverage.

SafeNow: Security Deterrence at Your Fingertips

The first stop when entering LVT’s booth was SafeNow. A feature that allows your employees to access LVT® Units in the palm of their hands. The easy-to-use app can turn on the MSU’s powerful deterrence if there is a suspicious person or activity. This allows off-hour workers to feel safe while coming to work or going home. Authorized users will be able to connect to LVT’s strobes, floodlights, and audio warnings. If those deterrences don’t work, it will then escalate and alert the authorities. To gain access, a simple pin is created and distributed.

AI Talk Down and Forensic Search: Automated Intervention and Rapid Search

The next station gave attendees a first hand experience at the improved LVT AI Talk Down and LVT Forensic Search features. Guests could stand in front of the LVT Unit and within seven seconds, the AI talk down would call out specific clothing or accessories they had on and tell them to leave the area. Once they left, they could see their clip already uploaded to a report. Any event that triggers AI talk down can be reviewed immediately and users can see what happened and what the system said. When you pair that with LVT Forensic Search, you can perform keyword searches for specific attributes, ranging from "a person in a floral shirt" to "a person wearing a black backpack and a green shirt." This saves teams hours of time by eliminating the need to scrub through every second of video footage.

Live Unit Surround: Building-Mounted Coverage and Efficiency

After that interactive demo, patrons would make their way to our brand new product, Live Unit Surround. The new building mounted solution allows you to go even further with your full site coverage. The multi-head unit deterrent is connected to one centralized hub, allowing you to put the units on the front of the building and on the back. You get all the deterrence as you would from an MSU but with less footprint. With the one system, you can see all the cameras in one view, in this case we were showing 10 live streams at the same time from one Surround. When it comes to installation, our new parapet mount offers a non-penetrating roof option that is rapidly deployable, keeping your building’s integrity intact.

License Plate Recognition: High-Speed Accuracy and Data Privacy

Then people were shown our LPR offering, with our partners Insight LPR on hand to help answer any questions. We shared how smooth the integration is with LVT. You can mount it to a MSU or on a pole. Insight LPR’s specs rivals any in the space with 98% accuracy for vehicles moving up to 120 mph in high traffic and multi-lane situations. People were really excited about how easy it was to hot list suspicious cars and how quickly you get alerts when they are spotted. The biggest reason this partnership works between LVT and Insight LPR is because both companies prioritize data privacy. Our main message during ISC West is that we do not share your information and data.

GuardGate: Flexible Access Control

Our last area was GuardGate. The flexible and rapidly deployable gate solution solves a large need across all industries. As more lots and facilities are created to match demand, it means the need for reliable access control also increases. Instead of months of construction and large costs that come with a guard shack, GuardGate can be in place within hours at a fraction of the price. Companies can now have a barrier and cameras at any entry and exit. One feature guests were excited to hear about was the breakaway arm and intercom that do not require any tools to put back in place. This feature saves companies significant time on repairs and eliminates the need for additional worker training. Furthermore, remote gate control allows you to deploy your guards exactly where they are needed most.

Mobile Security Unit: Trusted, Rapidly Deployable Solution

Of course we had two of our industry-leading mobile security units on display as well. While we have a lot of new and exciting offerings, the MSU still plays a key role in securing businesses. With industry-leading uptime, solar power and cellular connectivity, the MSU provides 24/7 security in high-traffic or remote areas without the need for infrastructure. It allows you to cover the hard to reach areas of your property.

LVT Booth Experience

With an expansion of our booth this year, LVT was able to give people an interactive demo of all these products while also making it a quest. If you followed the quest, you earned a chance to win prizes.

Let's start with how the quest worked. Once visitors arrived at the booth, they were given a sleeve to track their progress through the five stages or demos of different products. The sleeve looked like a handheld gaming system, but it was missing games! That’s where you got to collect game cartridges, one at each stage to insert into the gaming system. Once completed and all five are collected, the participants would go to our redemption counter to receive a token to play the coveted claw machine.

Oversize Claw Machine Hype

Why was LVT’s claw machine so popular? Throughout the show, there was a line to play. Even when the show hours ended, people were still trying to get their chance at a prize. The gigantic, oversized LVT claw machine was filled with exciting products. Inside, you could win an LVT Unit plushie, a tumbler, a gun safe, a retro handheld gaming system, and a Switch 2! The machine was filled with the plushies and different colored inflatable balls. Each color meant a specific prize.

The most sought after gifts were the StopBox gun safe, retro gaming handheld, and the Switch 2. You can’t have a video game theme and not giveaway video games. The popular retro gaming handheld brought you back to the gaming systems in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, but these were loaded with thousands of games, from Tetris to PacMan. Those were flying off the shelf, while there were only a handful of Switch 2 winners all week. We know not everyone can be a winner, but at LVT we make sure they all feel like one. If you weren’t able to get a ball or plushie on your try, you could still exchange your token for a prize at our redemption counter.

Getting the High Score!

While the claw machine was a big draw, it wasn’t the only way you could game at our booth. We also had two arcade machines open to anyone who wanted to be on our leaderboard. ReleGATE Rally was simple, but you had to be quick. Open the gate to allow green vehicles in, while closing the gate on red vehicles—a similar function as our GuardGate. The other was License to Thrill, based on our introduction of LPR. This memory based game would give you a license plate to remember for a few seconds and it would disappear, then it would present you with three cars. Pick the one out of the three that matched the original plate number. Our leaderboard would reset each day, but the top scores on each game would get prizes.

After-Hours VR Gaming Event

Of course, it’s not a great tradeshow if we don’t throw an afterhours party. That Thursday night, we hosted guests at SandBox VR, a VR gaming experience filled with shooters, Squid Games, and Stranger Things. In these games your movements would be captured in realistic environments. You could hear laughter, screams, and triumph cheering across the building. Pair that with great food and refreshments and people had a great time.
