LiveView Technologies (LVT) is excited to announce our partnership with Cawamo, a producer of AI based video analytics in Hod Hasharon, Israel. This partnership allows LVT to expand our product offering with LVT Enhanced Analytics. Traditionally, LVT Units are stationed in store parking lots or other outdoor spaces. However, with the addition of the Cawamo Hybrid AI Network (CHAIN), LVT can offer the same detect, deter, defend solution inside the store.

“Some of the biggest retailers in the world have seen the power of our units in their parking lots,” said Derek Boggs the Director of Demand Generation at LVT. “In fact, those who use our solution have seen up to a 70% reduction in parking lot incidents. Now, we have the opportunity to bring that inside retail locations.”

The partnership allows for a full integration of a customer’s existing video feeds into the LVT Platform. This includes the capability to create custom alerts and video analytics. The goal is to help retailers reduce merchandise shrink rates. In 2019 alone, more than $61 billion was lost from theft, fraud, and other retail shrinkage. Traditional, reactive solutions like lighting, guards, and Wi-Fi and IP cameras do not make a significant impact on stopping the theft. However, with the addition of analytics and alerts on the LVT Platform, retailers will have increased data and the opportunity to act during an incident.

“We are excited to extend our partnership with LVT,” said David Yakov from Cawamo. “The combination of our products creates a powerful solution to fight against theft, fraud, and other crimes that happen inside retail locations.

Originally brought together through the Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation, LVT and Cawamo have been working together since 2020 to create a viable AI based analytics video security solution for remote sites.
