Growth Means Change

If you were to plot the growth of LVT over the last five years on a graph, you’d swear you were looking at a hockey stick. With that kind of growth, it's crucial that a company carefully selects a tech stack that can scale accordingly. The LVT learning team knows this more than most because we serve not only all of our internal teams and company organizations, but our customers, partners, and third party vendors as well. 

That’s why LVT has worked hard to improve the learning experience for our customers, partners, and employees by adopting a new learning platform. To keep with our hockey theme, we want to showcase a quick hat trick of benefits and features of LVT’s new learning platform that our customers and partners will be able to take advantage of.

We Teach People, Not Courses

At LVT, our learning team does not teach lesson material. We teach people. Our mission is to give our learners the right piece of information, at the right time, and in the right amount for the learner. To that end, we needed a platform that can give us the tools to partner with our audiences in learning. With our new learning platform learners can expect:

  • Custom learning paths based on a learner’s role or user-type
  •  The ability for a learner to curate their own paths
  • Learner dashboards that encourage full use of LVT tools

Features like role-based learning pathways create a culture of learning for our audiences, not just a place to take a required course. 

Insights, Insights, Insights

How does that old saying go? “If it isn’t tracked it didn’t happen.” There’s a lot of truth to that. It’s a much better saying than the one we originally came up with which was, “If a learner falls in the forest, do they make a sound? (queue YouTube clip of the Grape Lady).”

We want to not only create results for our LVT learners, we want to show results. Our new learning site will:

  • Generate reports for managers and admins to help keep you finger on the pulse of your team’s engagement with LVT
  • Give actionable insights into learning trends in your org so you know that your people are invested in learning LVT 

To quote Michael Scott quoting Wayne Gretzky, “You miss 100% of the courses you don’t track.” Weird quote for a hockey player, but who are we to judge!

One Stop Shopping

We understand how frustrating it can be to have six different logins for one vendor. That's why our learning platform is tied in to our VMS platform. The learning platform give you:

  • The ability to use single sign on to log in to the platform
  • One username and password for the VMS platform and the learning platform
